Kentucky's only had one-and-done players in the last year or two. I wasn't aware that there were issues with the recruits gangbanging, gambling, criminal backgrounds, exam-taking, and automobiles. DId I miss something?

Haters.....love that you give this much thought to the teams u hate. If you thought about your own team as much as to the teams u hate you might be a happy fan...

Brandon Knight (ranked #1) is actually an honors student at a real high school. And President Todd was rather impressed with how John Wall handled himself like a professional-- though Todd is trying to change the one-and-done NCAA loophole.

UK doesn't pay anybody. Judging from what recruits and their parents have said, the selling points are these:

1. Calipari isn't real strict. Dribble-drive puts the player in control. It's the opposite of when Gillispie was there, and what you'll experience with other "my way or the highway" coaches.

2. You get to be coached by former NBA players on staff.

3. You're guaranteed the best pipeline to the League through World Wide Wes and his network.

The requirement for the recruit is to commit to staying eligible and completing coursework spring semester, so UK can keep all its scholarships for the next year and keep the pipeline going. And the player is asked to consider coming back to finish his degree and work out with the team during the NBA summers. Calipari was pretty good at Memphis at getting guys to come back to work on their degrees.

Parents and players understand this is a good deal.

I grew to love UK this year and was rooting for them to win the tournament. I know Calipari's a cheat, but I don't care...his teams play exciting basketball and its a shame that they didn't win the championship this year.

I'm a diehard IU fan. If I thought about them more, I would put a gun in my mouth. So instead, I take digs at schools by issuing unfounded allegations about the caliber of their program.

For me, it will be an interesting story if in 5 years Calipari has zero championships and 15 first-round draft picks. Will Kentucky fans be satisfied with that? Most likely not. But this is what he does, and what the boosters are paying for.

UK fans can call people haters all they want because it is true mainly because they are ruining college basketball by cheating their way to recruits and its not just Cal, the main one is World Wide Wes and Nike sending LeBron James around recruiting for them and offering peoples brothers (Marquis Teague) shoe contracts. Then after they commit they get people to take the SAT for them. Its ridiculous!

Considering that the loophole you refer to originates from a collectively bargained NBA rule, not an NCAA rule, any idea what alternatives Todd is looking at to try and change things?
