I'm thinking about picking up another team. Probably looking for a long-term D2 or D3 team, although not sure where. I already have teams in Wooden and Allen. Any thoughts on the best world for D2 or D3 other than those?

Look at the PAC in DIII Iba, alot of long term coaches, and we have been in the top 3 conference wise for the past few seasons now.

I play in DII Smith Great Northwest, and most of the teams in that conference are solid. The__Kid is in it too, if you are looking to compete against some of your HD foes.

From the thread I started:

5 bids to the NT, 4 to the 2nd round, 3 to the sweet 16, two in the Final 4, one lost in the championship game, over 4k in extra recruiting money, 7 humans, all with top 100 rpis, 5 top 10 SOS(pre-NT), 1 and 3 in RPI right now, with another at 7 (NC game runner-up), #1 in conference RPI, most active board in Tark, including d1.

Washington and Jefferson have 2 open spots, Randolph-Macon has 7 open spots(EDIT: Has been taken over by pumphead), Emory and Henry has 7 open spots, Hampton-Sydney doesn't have any open spots, but they have 6 juniors, and you could cut anybody and still have more money than normal for an open scholarship. Lynchburg also has no openings, but they have five jrs.

Wooden is pretty good for D3, Tark is very good for D2.

Probably down to Iba and Tark, just have to decide if I've got time for a two-a-day world!

Iba D2 is fun. The dynasty rankings by allblack really add something to the game. Check the Iba forum for what I'm talking about.

CCIW in IBA DIII is very active. Great group of coaches. Only 2 openings .

For D2 it has to be either Naismith or Rupp and I would lean toward Rupp.

Iba DIII is still pretty solid after being the best for a long time. Some good conferences mentioned here already. My conference, Upstate, is a competitive and active conference also. Recruiting starts on friday

the best place for d2, imo, is tark because the GLV is so strong. to strive to be in that conference, or a competing conference (im in the second highest rated conference) is fun because of the amount of talk in the conference corners.

DII Tark for sure

im pretty sure wooden has the strongest d3 unless something has changed in the last few years
