Are kidding me? I'm really tired of paying to beta (gamma?) test.

I set my distro, and I have a big man (Ingram) who is an offensive black hole. He has a LP rating of 38 and PER of 18 (DII).

I set his distro to 0 and his 3 point setting to -2. Naturally he goes 1-6 from the field, and 0-4 from 3 point land.

EDIT:
Just noticed that another big man set to -2 (Cobb) took 2 3 point attempts.

None of these shots were desperation heaves.

This is odd, because I don't remember seeing guys in the pseudo-beta test shoot 3's when they were set to -2.

Regardless, not good.

Screw the 3 point attempts, I want to know why a player with a distro of 0 took as many attempts (6) as a player with a distro of 28. The zero player only had 1 putback/tip in attempt.

Yeah I had a similar issue, my starting PG got 20% of the distribution, but only took 2 shots, and he played 25 minutes.

8 other players took more than double the shots, including guys set at 2,3,4, 10, 11 to his 20.

Reinsel, the highest amount of my distro went to Wood, my C. And you saw what happened there.

Same problem here guy with 2 distro took more shots than a guy with 15 distro. Guy with 2 distro had 0 off. rebounds.

I'm checking on the 3pt/-2 issue and will have that fixed tomorrow. As for distribution, I'll check into that too, but there is a minimum chance built in for each player (I don't think the old engine had that). It should be a small chance, but to say that a player has no chance of taking a shot is not realistic.

Thanks Seble, I know that it is unrealistic to expect our distributions to be followed exactly, with defense, situation, sample size, etc. but with some of these it doesn't seem like it was just luck that the distribution was almost opposite the coach settings.

No one said anything about players having no chance of taking a shot.

My question is why is a player with a distro of 0 taking 6 shots? In the past, a player with 0 distro would only attempt putbacks and tip-ins, and sometimes breakaways layups/dunks off of steals (for guards).

I will take a look.

I guess I'm a bit confused...is the release live for all worlds or just Smith and Allen? This entire process has been incredibly confusing.

On the plus side, the other team won in my replay, and I think this time the more talented team won, so that is good.

I think it will be for everyone, as soon as they roll over and start a new season. Smith and Allen are the first, Crum will be soon.

Only Smith and Allen right now.

When Tark generates new recruits tonight and plays their exhibition games tomorrow, that will be with the new engine, and as other worlds get through their next recruiting cycles, the new engine will take over there as well.

Thanks, I'll be sure to strap in for the gurney lap

Yup. Bigmen who cant shoot, firing up 3's is what I got also. Had all big men set at -2 and they took the most 3's. Other wise I liked what I saw much better.

Seble, keep up the good work. Dont worry about the hazing, we all want to have fun and have the game feel real. My opinion is that is exactly what you want too. Just keep working out the kinks and we'll be with you.
