Just simmed. Had a center put up 43 points against me. Not sure if my big men are just that bad defensively, if the other team gave insane distro to his guy, or if this new engine still isn't working...

You are playing M2M with at Starting Center who as a DEF rating of 15. Expect every Center to light him up.

Oh I'm obviously not playing my guy for his defense, and I know what to expect. But 43 points??

I wonder if the engine is working properly; but we just beat BC by 52; scored 109 points have 7 guys in double figures; and he had 8 of his 9 scholarship players foul out of the game leading to 60 FTs...the old engine must not have been working properly as this is what I've always expected of my team. In all seriousness the teams were pretty even and this result seemed odd. Anyone else see anything like this?

Good sign to see a 23 ath/15 def big man get lite up like that vrs a guy with 51 ath and 72 LP. Hopefully it continues. This stuff SHOULD happen, but never did enough to make game planning really worth it. The new adjustments to make mismatches more noticeable should bring a bit more fun into game planning. Coaches may now throw curve balls by moving the PF to the center spot thinking the opposing coach will increase his centers distro not knowing the better defender will be moved over.

Pressing with bad IQs now leads to HUGE numbers of fouls. Not that I find that super unrealistic.

He played press with a very young team. It seems like press has been killed off a little bit with the new engine, but its always been the case to be crap with a young team.

Well. I think that maybe the halfcourt press options might work, but to run FCP<> you need to be seriously superior.

FWIW my boxscore and pbp from the first Tark exhibition looked pretty solid, nothing kooky occurred and my distro was followed pretty closely.

I expected starters to play more minutes- but results seemed similar to the old engine for me as far as minutes guys can stay on the court at fairly fresh and how deep I went into my bench. Anyone else seeing this? Was it changed?

EDIT: I just checked out my stamina ratings and they had decayed quite a bit in the offseason. With that in mind it does look like a few guys played more than I would have seen in the past.

Hard to say for me, both of my games were blowouts, so players were taken otu early all around.

The depth chart thing seems a bit off. We had a bit of foul trouble, but my starting center didn't even start the 2nd half and played only 16 minutes the entire game. Tkimble gameplanned pretty well, but does it justify a 23 point victory...its debatable.
