Like I mentioned in the other thread Apple always has problems with their products when they first put them out, Microsoft has the same problems and these are the #1 and #2 software companies and companies worth 10s of billions of dollars and budgets of 10s of millions of dollars to get their programs right and they still don't debut perfect. I think it's fairly ridiculous to expect a much smaller company with a much smaller budget to debut their programs absolutely perfect.

It's totally unfair to expect perfection from WIS when it's unheard of from even the 2 biggest software companies in the world to be perfect. The only thing you can hope for is for WIS to be willing and able to correct problems as they occur, and that's what they are doig. The outrage some of you are expressing is childish and unwarranted.

Seriously stop the incessant whinning the problems aren't even that big. Everything except what happened in Knight can be fixed with minor tweaks, and they will be.

We're all dealing with the same issues so it's not like 1 coach has a leg up on another.

Also...businesses that use Apple and Microsoft are much more of a "dynasty" than our little $13 per season. I think their very long-lasting impacts are a bit more important than ours and yet they somehow find a way to plug along, don't they? As can we.

So Vandy, you think even a perfectly humming engine with no flaws, which had changes from the old engine nonetheless would not have done the same thing? Any time there is change, some people will lose, others will win.

What if you had built your team to make a run this season and now the engine is getting crazy results because its not ready. You have a wasted season that you were planning on doing well. Then, you have 6 guys graduate and you have to start over. How is that fair? The least they could do is offer a free season.

You got me to chuckle, lol. You would think Vandydave would be happy as a pig in **** considering the press has been weakened so much. Kind've seems like you're one of those people who is just always going to find something to complain about.

Like has been said already no matter what with a new engine even if it were perfect some teams that were built to win under the old engine may not be as good in the new engine and could go from a top 3 team to a Sweet 16 team.

Another thing is, we are 3 games into Tark maybe a bit further along in Allen and Smith judging from the quick fixes addressing all of the problems people have stated could it be that this early in the season all of the problems have been fixed and for the rest of the season things will work as was intended with just a few minor things that some people have a problem with. Those things that some people have a problem with are expected because you can't please everybody all the time.

Maybe the answer should have been to roll the new engine out in just one world, find and correct the bugs/issues in that world, and then run out a much more polished product to the other worlds.

The coaches in that world would probably be a bit upset to "beta test", but at least it would have only affected one world and those coaches could have been compensated in return.
