In honor of Junior hanging ‘em up along with less-notable WIS “retirements.”
Pick any player no longer active and field a team entirely of his former teammates. You must use the last WIS season of your player, and one other season of that player as well. Everyone else on your roster must be seasons played with your guy, with the exception of one twist for a hitter and one for a pitcher from your retiree’s last team (this could be the player’s manager as well; for example, if you use Willie Mays, you could use your hitter twist on 73 Mets manager Yogi Berra). For non-twisted players with partial and full seasons, you must use the full or partial season from your retiree's team. Anyone not currently under contract is eligible (i.e. Pedro Martinez).
