Best possible is 10-10, worst possible is 0-20. Five decisions reversed.

So if you go 5-15 in a 20-game stretch, and you could change any five of those games from a loss to a win or vice versa, what is your best possible record in that stretch?
I'm quoting both posts so we're clear what the example is...
To make your hypothetical 5-15 team have an 0-20 record you take the only 5 wins and switch them to losses, but then to make them 10-10 you take 5
different games (which were originally among the 15 losses) and switch them to wins. You are manipulating 10 different decisions in your example. This is the flaw in your logic.
It's not 5 decisions, it's 10.
Please tell me you understand now.

Yeah, it really does. The difference between 5-15 and 15-5 is five decisions. If you don't think a couple of players can cost you 5 decisions, I don't know what game you're playing.
You do realize that the game isn't set up to make sure you win/lose 5 games over 162, right? Those five games can come be grouped. Especially since, you know, you play 3-4 games series
