Guys I'm starting this thread to see what we can do to generate more interest in LIVE play. One of my suggestions would maybe lower our mins to 40 games for some of our leagues. Reason I say this is I think we could get some owners to do that, along with owners like me that would still play over that 40 mark anyways. I don't know what else to do, but since the remake our these forums (which suck by the way) there has been little to no signups for leagues in LIVE. I hope this changes and is probably just the slow time of year again, but does anyone have any suggestions they would like to throw out?

Support does not seem to care about fixing broken aspects in LIVE so in return, less leagues are filling up. I'm sure there would be more interest if they cared more about their product. Instead, they sit around the office with their thumbs up their *****.

Limit the number of leagues per CAP
Limit the number leagues by ONE League Founder at one Time
Create a requirement for league founders........atleast veteran
SH#%Can the smaller leagues......Only 24 team leagues
 THIS would lead to more Variety and more CONFIDENCE that a league will have a chance to fill. Alot of the problem I think is nobody wants to commit to a league that wont fill and waits till it is close to filling.

Sounds right achilles. Leagues seem to pick up steam once they get to near 20 or more. 

Bastan, I do not think lowering the LIVE min is the way to go. I am already frustrated by the number of teams who just get to 60 and stop. If I am playing in a LIVE league I would like to play at least half of my games live. I know that not everyone wants to do that but I cant see joining many leagues where people can play 40.

I like it at 60 and most the time it's attainable. Even 40 or 50, from other people i could deal with.  Personally, i like to get between 125-150 LIVE played

I'm not sure the live minimum matters that much, since many owners don't care whether they make it or not if they are not going to playoffs. When I started playing SLL 2 1/2 years ago, it was considered an embarrasment to come up short of the minimum, and most leagues had no more than 1 or 2 owners fall short. As long as the minimum is considered optional by so many players, the minimum really doesn't accomplish much.

I agree josh, back then we had players who took it seriously, and i think it has become lax bc we unfortuanatley dont have enough guys to fill leagues anymore. there is about 20 dedicated (guys that are constantly in more than 1 league a t a time) guys that try to fill leagues and cant fill all of them. I will shamelessly plug usa to help get that one filled which is at 20 btw!

I agree with josh and that is the main reason why I have sort of "retired" from LIVE...Im still not sure if its my issue or WIS's but since i basically cant finish a game(sometimes i get 3 or 4 in but mostly i freeze and leave and come back 6 or 7 times a game) I am absolutely embarrassed (as well as Friggen P***ed) since my last two teams were in 1st place but i couldnt play enough games to make the min! I will miss LIVE thats for damn sure since im  a control freak and cant stand sparky screwing up my stuff!

Hmm, whatever could be turning people off from Live. It's a mystery.
