Just won the DI NT in Iba and 5 guys declared for the draft.  Seems like a lot?

If a senior who can come back for his 5th season, is still listed on my team and has declared, does that mean he will come back? or since he's a senior I'll have to wait til the turnover?

i could be wrong, but i believe 5 early entries puts you tied for first with myself and orrdc. pretty ****** record to hold if you ask me :) both of us also had 7 total draft picks, which as far as i know is also a record, let me know how many you wind up with!

I had 5 total players drafted one season, but I could not even complain that year as Taz's Texas squad had 7 players drafted including 2 EEs.

Wierd deal. He had 5 EEs none of the other FF teams had anyone declare.. Now would I trade 5 returning players for a NT. You bet! Looks like he will be filling nine spots. 10 if the 5th year guy leaves.

Well, I had only 3 EE's in Allen, but I didn't win the NT, and my prestige is only A-. Good times.

I've had 5 EEs twice and 8 drafted one of those seasons.

after the number of these threads that have come and went, im kind of surprised by that lostmyth... ive heard so many stories of your early entry woes though so i suppose i should have expected it. so thats at least 5 instances of 5. who will be first to 6?

Lostmyth, you were ravaged in Tark by graduation and EE's a couple seasons ago I remember, but filled you roster very well too.  I can only hope to do as well.
Kannc, yes as much as it sucks, finally getting my first DI NT is worth it.

Yeah this is so strange.  Virginia in Allen won the title with no seniors a couple seasons ago and had zero EEs.  It just is hard to make any general rules about EEs.

The ACC in Allen is the most dominant Conf in HD.  They lead a charmed life.  Recruit the top players and never get hit by EEs.  Villanova who lost the title game to an ACC team had more EEs than the entire Allen ACC who had 4 S16 teams I think, and a ton of 850 rated sophs/juniors

Update: We had 7 guys drafted last night, including four in the top 16. So, in the past three seasons, we've had one Final Four, one NT title game appearance, and 10 guys drafted.

And our prestige has gone from B+ to A.
