Will be in Knight D3

And by active I mean we will have a conference thread where we will:

Rank conference recruiting classes
Do preseason conference rankings
Do conference games of the week
Each do our own team reports (optional)
Vote on player awards at the end of the season
Maybe have a March Madness type bracket challange for the Conference Tournament

And anything else I can think of as we go along.

If we are quick with this we can get into Phelan. If not, we will go with Knight. I am looking for at least 8 people.

We would probably be up for that in our "Interesting Idea for a Conference" conference.  At least I would.  But you would need be a themed team.  Don't know if you'd be up for that.

Maybe if I cant get enough guys here but I would prefer to be able to build my team into a national power and not just a conference power. With those limits you are always going to be at a huge disadvantage.

Which will make being a national power that much more satisfying.  If you don't get enough guys, keep it in mind.  Good luck.

It could definitely end up being D3 just because people might now have Phelan experience. I really wouldnt mind I just like having more of a budget.

definitely count me in. this game is a lot better when the coaches are active. I have a team in Knight so I could do DII that way. it's only my first year there and my team isn't going to any tournaments though, so I won't qualify for tons of jobs.

All right PJ just sitemailed me that the entire Empire 8 is open in Phelan D3 right now... that would pretty much be perfect

my bad, i was mixed up on that. I counted 8 openings, and assumed the Empire 8 had 8 teams, but there are actually 9 teams so I guess it's not completely open.

Ok the Great North East and the IIAC both have 11 openings so were gonna go with one of those.

every conf has 12 teams. Even the pac 10 to make it even they got hawaii/fresno st.

You are welcome to join the Phelan Southern California Conference in DIII, since my Colorado team is already a national powerhouse. I promise to participate in the fun and games.

I'm absolutely slammed this time of year, but let me know if you are short by one or two guys. Conference game of the week is what life is all about, I almost failed a required class senior year because we drove to Champagne, IL to watch (the worst cheater ever) Kelvin Sampson lead Eric Gordon and my Hoosier over the also ranked Illini. Oh, the tangled webs we weave.
