This is the second go around of the Upstate Challenge (oldave failed miserably the first time)

We have the toughest DIII conference in all of HD.  and we're in need of a couple coaches.  if you think you're good enough to handle this conference then let me know, it could earn you some cash. 

here's the challenge:

sign up for a team.  stay for at least five seasons (we hope you have the intent of staying longer). 
in season #3, if you win/tie your division you get $13 (free season)
in season #4, if you win/tie your division you get $13 (free season)
in season #5, if you win/tie your division you get $13 (free season)
in season #5, if you win your division (outright) you get $60

but if you dont know me, or dont think i'll pay you, then dont bother.  . . . i'm not going to spend my time convincing you this is legit.  i just love this conference and we started it YEARS (36 seasons) ago.  our collective goal is to have a conference RPI of .6000 AND get (at least) 10 teams into the NT.  this is my way to attract a top notch coach. . . .


not really many conditions, i'll go into more detail when a coach is found.  but just no "superclass" cheating type stuff.  no building a team to win for just one season.  blah blah.  like i said, we'll chat when a coach is found. . .

we're talking division here.  all you got to beat out is five other teams!

I'm not an elite coach by any means, but I'd like to know which schools are open.

we have three openings.  which is what sparked this.  In 49 season, we've only had 12 sim coached teams.  this season we have 3!!   it sucks, but its still not that bad to have a simai for only 15 out of a possible 588 seasons.

as for the conference, its the Upstate in Wooden. 

the team that the challenge is for is Clarkson. 

the other two available teams are rochester and case western reserve

if anyone want to reserve the other two teams, be my guest.  its a fun but VERY competitive conference.

i joined this conference when i re-entered HD after 2-3 years away from the game...i can't be happier i did...you lose a lot of games because of the competition, and winning 18-20 games is a major achievement just about any year.  making the NT/PT is always doable if you schedule your non-conf right though.  the point is, when most of HD is a ghost town like it is now, playing in a conference like this makes the game SUPER fun.  it's like playing an NT game every night once the conf season starts.  polo's challenge aside, if you're thinking about playing HD again, adding a team or just shifting to a more competitive conference from what you're in now, it's a no brainer.

PS - i dont think you need to be an elite coach at all.  just have a good recruiting and team plan coming in.

I should have taken them.  Id switch if theyd let me.  I only read the initial post and didnt see clarkson was the team it had to be.  It only said needs coaches. oooff
