I am experiencing the same issues with clear mismatches in my favor turning into stalemates or even losing battles.

skunk is just not used to losing...and I haven't noticed any gameplanning differences.

I didn't in Tark but so far in Knight (through 5 games) all of my gameplanning has worked as intended.

thats nice for you. i have been very positive of the engine up and til this 2-3 change, so when i say there are glaring problems across the board then you should believe what i say isn't sour grapes.

I don't agree at all -- I haven't seen anything to indicate that there are any material changes in the areas that you're talking about. I don't think the engine was even touched in any of those areas. My intiial thought was the same as tkimble's -- that you're not used to losing, and that's what's driving this frustration.

girt this isn't as simple as losing. i got ath/spd matchups where i'm clearly favored and i'm getting tossed around like a rag doll. i got double teams on inferior players that aren't having any effect. i've got def settings that seem to have no effect, -5, -4, -3, whatever i do its the same results. i understand that in the updates there doesn't seem to be any wild changes written, but something is amiss.

in my last game i had my top distro guy set at 24 and he shot five times. five! and its not like that is the first time under the 2-3 update that i've seen wild swings in distro and shots taken.

Which matchups/games are you upset about?
2/23/2011 11:15 AM
many games, but the morris brown vs. georgetown game set me over the edge. there is nothing i missed in that set up that should've resulted in a loss of 16 points, if anything under my original gameplan i projected a win of five to ten points.

Your Morris Brown team can't rebound at all that's going to kill you all year long or at least against the better teams, so I wouldn't blame it on the update for the lack of rebounding. I wouldn't say your team is quite as athletic and fast as you make it seem, Georgetown was just as good if not better than your team and killed you on the glass.

ath/spd of my c,pf, sf matchups was way better then his. his top scorers came from his pf and sf which happened to be against my two best guys. so yeah i see that as a big problem. i understand my reb ratings are low, but as far as i know it, reb rating isn't the all out deciding factor in winning and losing games, nor do i think rebounds are only manufactured by the reb rating itself, but with this update it seems to be. as far as i knew it superior ath/spd ratings in big men will make up for lower reb ratings. not completely, but something.

Looking at those games, I honestly have no idea why you think you should have won any of them.  That schedule is way too tough for your team right now, I know you didn't set the schedule, but I don't get the shock in any of those losses.

i didn't say the other games for morris brown. but if you can't see the georgetown game after i pointed out the reasons i don't know what your looking at......also i didn't set up the schedule that was a sim controlled team previously.

the other games i was refering to in the "many" comments applies to the missouri western team in d2.
