Thought it might be interesting to compare the 1st round of this draft to where players went in The Master Draft League.


the 1-5 MDL PG's taken, the 1-5 MDL  PF's taken, and the 1-3 MDL Centers taken. So we like who like consistently, but I believe SF is the hardest position to fill with a star-level player.

As a group, we seriously love combo Guards. And 10 of our 24 1st round picks were taken as PG's in the Master Draft.

no true surprises so far. usually towards the back of the round there are a couple "how did he get so far?" picks, not so much this time. will be interesting to see how this plays out with the credentials of so many guys altered by the new defensive ratings.

there is no way you want to wed yourself to a guy who wastes that many possessions in the 1st round

I agree......as I stated before, I do like some of his partial seasons as a back up. Along with his high defense he brings low fouls for a pf/c. What kills him is that bad fg%. You certainly can't have him as a 40min guy with that high of usg% taking all those shots and probably taking shots from better players. I think his 3.8M season with 70D 7ppg and 10 rpg is pretty solid for a back up. That's the version I'm using in the master draft. With only 7ppg his 40% fg dosen't kill you too much.
