I know this isn't the right forum but anywhere else this probably wouldn't be answered...
is there a certain age you must be to be a whatif member and to play the games?

I don't think so...I think when shipguy55 first joined he was like 11...I guess as long as you can get mom and dad to put the CC through, you're set lol

I am not aware of any restrictions. However, like any website, I would expect that anyone under age 13 is only playing with their parents permission and active monitoring. I know that there have been players as young as 10 (and as old as 70something). The fun thing about WIS is that the main criteria is to love sports and that spans all ages and social orientation. There have been users (men and women) ranging from Junior High School/High School students, to accountants, CEOs, Billboard charting singers/musicians, best-selling authors, truck drivers, doctors/dentists, lawyers, television screenwriters, military members, ESPN personalities, Elias Sports Bureau statistictions, college basketball coaches, teachers, professional sports athletes, professors, pastors, mechanics, retirees, and just about any other profession/career field you can think of.

I know a coach that bought a team for his 8-year old

Okay that's good because I watched my dad, tycobb2211, play and I listened to him talk about the game to his friends and one day I asked if I could try. He told me I had to wait till there was a special free season for my first season so he could see if I actually would pay attention to it and I did. Now my parents buy my seasons by using my allowance. I am 13 now and I love HD!

If this was around when I was 13, I would have been all in. Super cool!

When I was 10, my dad, psap, played GD and 3 years later I am now hooked on HD. Glad to see that their are other people my age playing as well.

i'm starting my 3 and 5 year olds tomorrow!!!!!!!

Actually, it does lol, this is exactly something I would do.  I had my parents cut me a $20 check when I was 11 (1994) so I could play a fantasy football game that was based out of Florida...it was real fantasy football, pre-internet if you could imagine that...only about 53 participants or so...but yes if I were a kid at the advent of WIS, this site would have been my dream come true...in a sense, it still is lol.

My kids gonna be playing HD by the time he's 2 and a half.
