show fatigue just like everyone else?  I've got a guy who's only 65 in stamina... but he's only played DH for the entire season.  He's at 95% fatigue right now and is only 220 at-bats into the season.

I'd understand if he was in the field... but this guy only moves about 5 times a game.  How can that be tiring?

Totally agree.  I think it's incredibly stupid.

Are you kidding me?  Its hard work just being this good looking!

Fatigue us based on PAs or IP.

As for "incredibly stupid".....LOL.

I don't really know what that means.  It's "incredibly stupid" that DHs get fatigued to the point of being less effective.  I don't really care what fatigue is based on in this game.

Why shouldn't DH's get fatigued?
7/7/2011 11:45 PM
It's sooooo much more taxing having to field 3 fly balls a game.

Man, am I gassed! I had to range 3 steps to my right and throw all the way to first!!!!

Most retarded thread of the year?

I'm guessing DH don't take BP, travel or doing anything but swing a bat 4 times a game.   Don't they have a bed in the dugout for naps?

I'm pretty sure the "True Knuckballer" thread was more retarded than this one.

Maybe we need to give this one more time to get some legs.

I don't think anyone is saying that a full-time DH shouldn't fatigue at all.  Anyone who knows anything about real baseball understands that the fatigue is due to the grind of a long season.  But that grind is *significantly* reduced when you aren't playing in the field.

I had to stand in RF and watch 10 strikeouts today!

I'm totally shagged!

Let's try this another way: do you think it takes more out of you, over the course of 162-game season, to play in the field or DH?
