I have the top pick in this season's draft and to my surprise there are 3 very worthy possibilities. 20m in college scouting.
The first and likely choice is a 21 year old SP #1 who is quite ML ready currently, but the downside would be his Undecided signing probability. He signed for slot money!

The next is a 22 year old 2B prospect with again, an ML ready bat, heck All-Star level bat. He wants slot money. At his age I doubt he will hit the progression but even half of that development is a top flight #3 hole stick. Health would also be a slight concern.

Lastly, the 2nd SP a 21 year old, less developed version of the first SP. His contract signability is better though looking to be drafted in the first round. Health and makeup could hinder his development to those progressions but again even half the development and he is a front rotation SP.

The first is likely going to be the pick, but his sign-ability has me a bit worried. I do not want to miss with this pick, especially since all 3 could be impact players, easily within 1 season. What do you all think?
