After a very popular first season of this league, we will make some changes.
Gone is the "drafting by position" part of the draft. For this season, we will have a ten round draft. Last year we had an eight round draft, but we will add an extra two "wild card" rounds for whatever players or positions you want.
Each player that is drafted becomes yours EXCLUSIVELY. This means that once a team drafts Jim Brown, they get to pick ANY Jim Brown year they want, and then no other team may draft any Jim Brown year. Same for every other player and team Defense and offensive line or kicker or special teams or WHATEVER.
Each team from season one will be allowed ONE "franchise player" that they may protect and keep from the previous season. Here's the catch though...if you decide to keep a franchise player, you lose your first round draft pick.
Draft selection order will be determined by lowest records from owners returning from the previous season. Any new owners will be randomly assignerd draft slot numbers after returning owners. The draft will be snake style though, so it's not that much of a penalty even for new teams, to be drafting later in the first round.
When you sign up below in this thread, please indicate if you are returning and who you are protecting as your "franchise player", if anyone.
