I have a brand new Franchise in the 20/70 Progressive.  All the expense!  I have to pay everyone from the Ticket Takers to the Ball Players.  Where will I Play?  I can use any Stadium in use during 1920 and 1970.  I'm allowed to pick my Stadium with any one of my Draft Picks.  So I have time for that.   What about the Players.  Who should I Pick?  Well, that will be dependent on my Draft Pick and whose available.  I've been looking over the Players from 20/70, and there's plenty of talent to go around.  So please feel free to Post your comments here.

Good stuff!  I think we all know who the #1 pick will be.  However, #2...that's a great question.  So many great players to choose from...if I had to make a guess, I would say a starting pitcher...but who knows?  I'm looking forward to getting started!

OK-I set up my Team Page-I hope others do the same.  What about alignments?  I'll have to ask Commisioner mensu the next time I see him.  I hate to bother him now as he probably has a million things on his mind.  But one thing I'd really like to ask him, is when well the Draft Lottery take place.  I know for myself. a lot of Personnel issues will be decided, when I know when I pick.  Maybe I'll send mensu a site mail to just ask him that?

Thats all I've been hearing since I got up this morning.  My Cell Phone has been doing nothing but vibrating.  My Front Office is Frantic!  I've never had the 24th Pick in the 1st Year of a New Progressive, and always pitied the Owner who did.  The Stars will all be gone, by the time I Pick!   My dreams of eating hot dogs with the Babe are forever shattered.  I'm going to have some coffee and get back to this.  If anyone has any suggestions please write in and Post here.

I think I identified 20 long term Hall-of-Famers in this draft. A boat load of great players will be left at 24. You just need to decide whether you want to win right away... or go long term and draft rookie type players. I've found that you may plan to do one of the other, but it all depends on who is drafted in front of you. The good thing is there are always great players that fall.

I see that you Draft 2cond.  That might be a real challenging spot.  Your pick could very well set the tone for the 1st Round, in that picks after you have to be affected by the fact that there's so many of these and so many of those remaining.  Also these Drafts, from my experience tend to sometimes be streaky.  But at 2, I can sincerely say I wouldn't know who to pick.  For myself at 24 I've compiled a list of 23 Players, who I believe will be picked before my turn.  I'm sure a few will slip through.  And those are the Players I will pick from.  So I hope the Stars will fall from the sky.

I think that I draft 8th. Still an interesting spot. I don't think I've ever had that good a spot in any initial progressive draft. I tried to identify the players that will go before me. Will be interesting to see how it falls!

Bootone is 8th and I follow him at number 9.  I'll guess that a couple great hitters will go in the top five picks, but that the scarcity of aces will make SP the popular choice in the top 10-12 picks.  But, heh, there is a reason this is a fantasy sim league... we all have our favorites so anything may happen.

I'm at the Team's Front Office.  I've grouped my projected list of 23, and have done an analysis of those Players most likely to fall from the sky.  And of course because I have the 24th Pick in Round 1, I'll have the 1st Pick in Round 2 giving me back to back Picks.  I've just been told, that some of the Players, who might be available to us have shown up at our Player Complex for a work out.  In the meantime the Front Office is buzzing with activity.  I'll keep all Posted as we go along.  In the meantime, please feel free to Post your comments.

Sorry Bootone-You were the 2cond to join, but you have the 8th Pick.  I agree that should be an intresting Pick.  I'm sure greener will be watching your pick with eager anticipation being that he picks 9th.

The Phones are ringing off the hooks.  I just told all Front Office Personnel, that they won't be going home anytime soon.  I've sent out for Pizzia and Chinese.  I will bring you the latest as Picks are being made.   My main focus will be on Players that my organization Drafts.  At this time, we have narrowed down our list of Players, that we would like to have Play with us.  Of cause Picking 24th, makes many of our Plans tenative at this time and they cannot really be talked about during the Draft.
