The Decades League will work like this:
- 10 Round Draft---Last two players used may be anyone that is not drafted. $2 million cap for player 11 and $2 millilon cap for player 12.
- Serpentine Draft
- No rookies...No waiver wire
- 55 Million Dollar Cap
Each player will draft TWO players from each of the following decades
1960s --- 1960/61 season thru 1969-70 season
1970s --- 1970/71 season thru 1979-80 season
1980s --- 1980/81 season thru 1989-90 season
1990s --- 1990/91 season thru 1999-00 season
2000s --- 2000/01 season thru present(owners may use 2010/11 as well)
Players may be drafted more than once, but they CANNOT be drafted more than once per decade. For example...
Someone might draft 1980s Michael Jordan(which enables them to use ANY season from 1980/81 thru 1989-90). Someone else might draft 1990s Michael Jordan(which enables them to use ANY season from 1990/91 thru 1999/20).
The only rule use you CANNOT use the same player twice---if you draft 80s Jordan, you cannot draft 90s Jordan(and you cannot use a 90s season of Jordan if he goes undrafted).
The draft rounds will NOT be by decade. So the first pick might be from the 70s, the second pick might be from the 90s, and so on. The only stipulation is you MUST draft two players per decade.
So an example of a round might be as follows:
1. Kobe Bryant - 2000s
2. Julius Erving - 1970s
3. Steve Kerr - 1990s
4. Moses Malone - 1980s
and so on.
Any issues not covered in these rules will be decided on as needed.
