I was reading through about 50 resumes at work and the thought came to me how much easier it would be to detemine the best applicants if they came with numerical ratings and FSS scouting reports.

1.  I can quit anytime.

2. I only have a few teams

3. I'm a 'functional' coach...I never miss work or family activities

4. I wouldn't play so much if you were a better spouse.

5. This isn't my team. I was just holding it for someone else

6. Why am I in the bathroom with the laptop at 2:00 a.m.?  Who ARE you.... my MOTHER??

6. An intervention??? NOW!?!?  But, recruiting starts in 10 minutes!

Me:  I'm tired today.

Wife:  Why?

Me:  It was the first day of recruiting and I had to see the 2:33am FSS word on the street for a potential target

Wife:  You are an idiot.

Me:  (nodding silently)
