Best Team Ath/Spd Combo In Current Era Topic

Check out my Colorado team in Knight http://whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=12827 I don't claim to be the best coach or recruiter but the team I have currently assembled is quite a bit ahead of its peers in both worlds that i have teams in. Especially when it comes to athleticism and speed. I am curious to see other teams of similar or better numbers. It could be interesting to compare the best team in each world to see if there is some correlation to geography, conference, class setup, etc.

EEs are obviously kind to you

incredible team tho

Definitely lucky with EE and local recruits. Your Texas team in Phelan is probably the closest to this Colorado team in my two worlds.

I could only wish. Comparable in Ath/Spd yes, mostly because I recruit for the press. I also recruit for a flex and usually run a small team yet your team LP/PER is off the chart unreal along with that Ath/Spd that i don't think I've ever seen obtained in the new engine era

that team is ridiculously good

Nobody feels like posting the best Ath/Spd combo or overall team currently in their world? I can only access knight and Phelan.

Nothing even close in Allen or Wooden.

Not equal in Ath/Spd but better in OVR: girt/daalter's UNC team in Allen.

That team is stunningly good.  As coach of Colorado in Allen, we'll need a lot of luck to get there.  How you have gotten that much talent from so close is just lucky...the Texas guy is close too.  I think you only have 3 players outside of 360 miles.  I just don't get that many 5-stars that close by.   Still, takes a good coach to get all that talent to sign and then you can obviously coach.  But its not always so rosy in CO.

Oh my goodness, how have you lost 2 games at home? Colorado is a great place to be, there just isn't much competition nearby.

No it is good, but you are kind of at the mercy of the recruit generator as well, if the best player in CO is the #28th PG, and no one is any good in Wyoming, its almost as bad as Hawaii.

This was my best D1 team (ending ratings) I ever had and is from 6 seasons ago in Rupp.  We were very lucky not to have any EEs from the prior season, so we started the season with a 866 OVR and ended with 895.  Sadly, wistfully, and shamefully, we lost by 2 in the title game to a Florida team that was really stacked as well.

Hawaii is actually much worse, because basically everything on the main land is super long distance for them.

And yeah, Colorado is a really nice place to recruit from. Better than Gainesville ...

Colorado is one of the, if not THE best spot in HD if the Big 12 is good. There always seems to be a couple studs in WY/CO/UT area. Sometimes you get lucky and get 2-3 5*'s AND other with lower ranked kids that have good future stars and can stash them on your bench, too. Loved recruiting from there. But yeah, you're doing work in Knight, fatchance. A big benefit is how crappy the MWC is in that world, where, as you know in Phelan, it's a lot more competitive
