I've always taken that to be an ambiguous behind message, but I really don't know.  

In my book, that's a slightly ahead message, but as we've seen from a thread earlier this week, my book is obviously not spot-on with its interpretation of these things. 

I thought this was a slightly ahead message as well, just want some opinions to confirm. 

Maybe you guys are right.  I just never feel comfortable with these types of messages, so I always assume it's even or I'm behind, and I try to make additional effort.

Let us know if you find out what this one means.

I always take all the messages in that range to mean "spend more money."  Safer that way, especially if the other team is human-coached and probably spending more anyway.

Ended up signing the player without any additional scholarship message. But I did put in considerable amount of effort this scholarship message.

For those saying under this situation, they would always spend more money, it's not a bad idea, until you are in 2 or 3 battles at once and every dollar matters. 

the message means you are slightly to moderately ahead. if i had to guess, i would guess that message would result in an 11am signing, not 8am the following day. can you share when exactly he signed? there is another "fence" one which, i believe, means slightly to moderately behind.

He signed this cycle, at 8am. 

interesting, i was expecting it earlier. did you get that message recently, or before 11am yesterday? just curious, if it was recent, this could still be a moderately ahead message, because you might have not been ahead enough by 11am yesterday. if that message was pre-11am, then this must mean slightly ahead. i guess. im not sure it lines up exactly with the signing times but it seems pretty close...

that msg is from 5 pm last night.

ah, so we don't really know. i still feel that is an 11:00 signing type of message, or really, a moderately ahead message, which i am just assuming correlates to an 11am signing.
