I love this game, but the lack of active development and promotion is starting to make it more hassle than it's worth. Works are taking longer to fill and I don't see the benefits that were advertised of the fox relationship.

This pretty much happens every fall.   A little something called football starts.

I get that, but it's a bigger and bigger problem. It's also baseball pennant time, not a bad time to find baseball fans.

I think it's the same problem.   Every fall.

Sadly, baseball fans are also football fans.   There are limits to everyone's free time.   If you're playing fantasy football, you either have to have "extra" free time or you cut out something.

Well forunately your departure, if you leave, will be a non-factor to 99% of HBD..

Your ad in the classifieds is messy which makes it less attractive IMO. The world is public so you're only going to draw a certain pool of players to begin with.. You rolled 4 days ago, you've probably waited much less of a period than every other world..

Thanks will, but my point they I don't have the time to advertise so someone can pay Wis $25. It's their product, not mine. I've been here from the start, but if they won't stand behind the product, put some promo effort into it, then I'll find another hobby.

Many have suggested running a WiS promo add on the bottom line during Fox sports broadcasts.

It would seem the parent company doesn't seem too interested in promoting the site.

Well that's a pretty big ticket add, but some stuff on fox sports website or even done promotional pricing beyond the usual would be a help. We also haven't seen an update in almost nine months or a dev chat in several.

Cutting back on worlds maybe the real answer but they could do more. I first came to HBD because I got a free season for winning a Fox fantasy baseball league. I also recruited 2 other members of that league. Fox must sponsor many games and this seems like a pretty cheap way to generate some interest. 'Course "they" would have to give a sh1t first.

I know of no website that guarantees "leagues" will fill.    None.
