This dudes Athleticism was blue at 22....when i recruited. Now its not its black...I would not had recruited him if it was black.....NOT worth the weak upside....WIS needs to fix this......not even 1 point in improvement..........JUST DO AWAY WITH POTENTIAL IF THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN.........Now when i drop him after the season my rep will take a hit......I CALL BS

Ill just not start him.....I promised a start to get him.....if I wanted a lame i would have gotten one without a start

You realize you're complaining about .05 points of ATH, right?

It will still improve 20. If +20 was never going to be enough then you probably shouldn't have got him in the first place.

i realize I see no improvement and I have a color change....give me a whole point at least something tangible.......make it worth my while....

with big men's ath being the most valuable category in the game, IMO at least, i share your frustration. kills me when i get guys who are +21 unknown high ath big men. but i don't think there is anything wrong or they should change it - if they made high like 22+ and left a gap at 21, you'd be just as annoyed if it was 22. if they made high 22+ and black up to 21, same deal. there really is no way to avoid players being at the edge of the range, unless i guess you just make them really rare, which is kind of nonsensical - the potential of players shouldnt be a bell curve within each range of improvement, that makes the overall improvement curve utter nonsense.

I like to call those seasons one and done...when all those unknown pots hit i call them final 4...its a symptom of a recruiting style that favors finding diamonds in the rough - I do it too

Scout them or take the risk.

If you assume something over 20.5 (or 20.99 or 21.0, depending on your belief) improvement for a blue/high category without determining whether it is high-high or low-high you don't have cause to complain (IMO).

I just wish the difference between regular high and high/high was worth more than a minimum of 7 points.  If you go through the trouble to send the less cost-efficient scouting visits to determine high/highs, I think the minimum should be at least 14 points.

Or alternatively, they could introduce new high/high/high messages for >35 points of improvement.  This would really help coaches trying to find hidden gem type players.

I'm becoming increasingly confident that starting skills and max skills are integer values, so 21.0 would be most likely...

Don't mean to interrupt the flow of the thread, but would you by any chance know where this is in the forums? I remember seasons back having it saved in my Favorites, but I guess I deleted it at one point.

This past Knight season was my first back in a while, and I didn't have the time last recruiting to find it. Unfortunately, I scouted some recruits and tried to guess which message from the scout meant high-high or high-low, and it bit me in the *** pretty hard. Would make my life much easier if anybody could post it!

If he started at 22 and it turned black immediately isn't his max 43?
