You live in Michigan but are a Patriots fan. I've seen enough here.

Have you heard of Tom Brady? I assume that's his reasoning/ justification.

Ehh, wasn't thinking about that, but it's just a little less unacceptable now. Brady was dogshit at Michigan.

In Michigan, you have Detroit, or you can go Cleveland if you're in the south. Yeah, it sucks, but that's what fan hood is. You shouldn't get to choose, but rather suffer as is your civic duty. You taunt the gods otherwise.

Thanks Paul, hope all is well with you and your family.  We shot this on 1-20-15 so the result is already in the books lol

I'm wondering about the title of the thread.  Colonels19 "stars" in......

Subtle hint maybe?

Pretty cool for real, hope you did well.

Most important of all though, remember what we learned in this thread.  If one day you decide to move to Colorado to take advantage of pot being legal, you will (by some sort of cosmic karma laws apparently enforced by a bunch of invisible sky wizards) be forced to be a fan of the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies, and Avalanche and if you aren't, Trevor, then karma will bite you in the *** and it'll be YOUR fault when pot goes back to being illegal.  Because that's what fan hood is Trevor, you idiot.

It's good to see you still around Paul.  I remember when you thought you were going to have to quit the game due to some major health issues.  By you still playing, that let's us know that for the time being anyway, everything is under control and that's ALWAYS a good thing.  I'm glad things worked out for you Paul, sincerely.

Thanks, emy1013. Things are going great. I'm playing basketball 3x a week and coaching my 5 y/o sons' basketball team on Saturdays. In a few weeks I'll be coaching him in YMCA soccer as well. I'm not 100%, but I'm getting closer. About the only problems I'm having right now is watching my NCAA tourney bracket fall apart and trying to find a job in Knight that I want to stay at as long as I was at Oberlin-regretting every single day that I left there, lol.

I want to thank the HD community again for all the well-wishes and support that I've received over the past few years. We have an amazing group of people in here and I'm honored to be a part of it.

I was not a fan of Brady at Michigan, and who are you to tell me or anyone what their "fan hood" is?  Geography/residence/citizenship has and should have no bearing on what team(s) I like at any given time.  I gravitate towards winners and I'll own that all day.
That's cheating, brah. Band wagoners are tools. If the shoe fits, wear it. Accept that you're a tool and I'll let you go.

To elaborate, I'm an Ohio guy. Our teams suck and always will suck, but we embrace them. It's our civic duty. Yes, they're often an embarrassment, but they are Ohio; they are us. To approach fanhood any other way is immoral. Slimy. Adulterous. Loyalty is not something that changes with success or failure. You cannot strip it like unwanted wall-paper; it should be permanent; unwavering in its immortality.

To swap teams indiscriminately is like abandoning family members when they're having a rough time. Dedication should be made of stronger stuff.

This aggression will not stand, you wagon band.
