I don't think it was dirty at all. EVERYONE lies about their players when they're trying to trade them. It might be that you pretend to value them more than you do or that someone else covets them but, for the most part, we're just trying to squeeze an extra drop from that rock. I'm probably the person that lies the least about how much I value a guy because, if I'm trying to trade him, he's obviously not someone I want/need on my 25.
I simply upped the ante a little by putting them on the waiver wire. Anyone who wanted them, and weren't first on the WW, needed to move quickly. And I added a little pressure by saying I'd accept a deal at 3 PM.
