On the bright side Topic

Although I personally think that many of the coaches who say they will quit will end up staying and liking the changes, if some do leave, those who have been complaining about top programs never being available will have a shot at some of them. I am eying the Maryland, Arizona and Stanford programs metsmax says he is leaving. Those are all three places I have thought would be cool to coach at. Should make for some really active jobs change periods.

someone should take over Grambling that I just dropped in Iba and dont forget Harvard in Phelan - once I leave - the break on tuition for the coach's kids at Harvard is a big benefit!

I think people should not drop any teams until we all know for sure how things will be fixed. Right now, recruiting and scouting do not work IMO.

best player I signed at Harvard in this cycle is a nonqualifier. And I'm redshirting a guy, So, I'm continuing to coach as usual. Not sure which team, if any, I'll retain for nuHD

Not saying I want anyone to leave - just to clarify.

"clarify" what? how is that something good?

no response not a surprise still cant put together a coherent arguement for it without resorter to laughing things off this and the whole jobs/recruit gen arent important show how stupid and thin any opinion of those supporting the beta are, its ridicoulous and then the little army of **** coaches who think this update will help them or have played 5 seasons +1 the stupid responses happens even when im not the coach being negative

I don't usually agree with most of the things that Only posts, mainly because most of his posts are way over the top, but I've got to agree with him on this one? How in the world could anyone see it as a positive thing when the most knowledgeable, experienced coaches leave? Because their teams open up? And as he said, most likely get run into the ground by Sim coaches before another human qualifies for them? And this is good how?

There may be some things about this new update that turn out to be an improvement and there may not, but for the life of me I can't wrap my head around how anyone could think that losing coaches is actually a "good" thing. That is a gigantic reach at best. I generally look at your posts as being informative and well thought out Chapel and there is no debating that you are one of the top coaches in the game (at least in my humble opinion) but I personally feel like you had a brain fart when you were posting this one.

I agree with you. Another bright side factor will be the benefit to the forums.
