Does anyone else notice how bad 5-11 cycles are for east coast people?

stay up to get 11 pm cycle(or miss it and get up before 5am lol)
get up before 11 am cycle (assuming no work and stayed up for 2 am game cycles)
find time during work before 5 pm cycle.

Especially with fewer cycles it's now even more important to not miss cycles since its a "larger penalty" for missing them.

I mean personally I'd rather have every 3 hours, its really not that big a deal if you miss a cycle or two as long as you have your attention points assigned and know when you have unlocked cv so you don't get left behind and miss out. Or at least have something like 3-9 cycles but I guess we like to cater to minority voices so lets make sure those west coast people get nice cycles... i mean at this point it seems like any reasonable idea just gets implemented in the most **** poor way possible I honestly think seble is just purposely doing this so that they can shut down HD and WIS, I mean at some point seble can't be this bad or out of touch can he?

this was pretty much in response to you saying how convenient it is for you since pretty much a majority of the players are east coast and how actually terrible it is for the east coast with those cycles and the added importance of not missing a cycle since they cut the cycles down by shifting to just 4 a day. I just have to post here instead of there for obvious reasons even though I follow the beta forum daily unfortunately.

Well, at least you know I'm not disagreeing with you. I tried.

Well I mean besides the silent majority who voted 5-11 before trying it out it seemed everyone for the most part was against 5-11 as well as a decent amount against just 4 cycles a day, but there goes seble doing his own thing with no explanation from him besides we are doing it my way.... I'm waiting for him to realize my way or the high way doesn't really work when you are selling a product to people that isn't a necessity

come on man, re-read your last post. it makes no sense. "besides the silent majority....everyone...was against 5-11." "there goes seble doing his own thing."

so seble went with the status quo which was apparently also the majority in the poll, and you basically say he's just catering to minority voices and ruling blindly with an iron fist? it sounds like you're the one that wanted to cater to minority voices and have your way here.

I'm on the east coast, and I like 5-11. i don't miss any cycles with that. i typically go to sleep around 11, so i can stay up a few minutes and hit that cycle then. I'd be much more likely to miss cycles at 3-9 (or 2-8 as also proposed) if i slept in a little on a weekend or was running late in the morning. i would have voted for 5-11 over 2-8.

In the actual thread discussion there is one person supporting the 5-11 cycles

11-5 sounds perfect for east coast to me. this was voted on, its not like seble just picked, how come you are so incapable of seeing anything from any other perspective than your own? empathy man... it matters. i voted 2-8 personally, so like many other issues, i share your position/preference, but am boggled by your inability to see past your own nose.

fair points all around. also worth noting, 2-8 conflicts with game sim times so that is basically the only concrete advantage/disadvantage between 2-8 and 5-11, giving more credit to the 5-11 decision. any other claim about 2-8 vs 5-11 invariably relies on a personal schedule or preference, or some lame attempt to impose a personal schedule on "the masses" without any legitimate support for doing so.

Almost any times pose meaningful issues for some. 5 and 11 would not be my first choice from my usually ET perspective, but I have a hard time coming up with times that I think are clearly better systematically and broadly

How exactly does 2/8 conflict with game sim times? The games all run at 11.
