IF WIS is smart, they'll take this over and run a contest - a credit to the winner each week for ten weeks or something.

BUT, with or without WIS, what do you think a player could say to a coach when his promised minutes dont seem to be coming his way?

This is actually pretty good - no seriously. Even with the horrible grammar. It makes it even better IMO.

I told my girl that I was going to be The BMOC and tear up the court (among other things. WINK) but I can't get no action wit her without some action on the floor. She told me she'd do that special thing she learned while studying abroad in Thailand if I start the next game. PLEASE coach. Don't do this to me.

Hey Coach,

Do you remember the REO Speedwagon song from back in the 80s called "Time for me to Fly". That song has been stuck in my brain lately when I think about the court time I'm getting right now. You'd better step up my minutes by 3-4 minutes a game or I'm outta here. "I know it hurts to say good bye, but it's time for me to fly".

Coach, I was talking with my mom the other day. You remember her - you sat in our living room and ate her famous apple pie like 20 times. She came to the last few games and she remembers when you said I would be getting at least 10 minutes a game. She was all set to leave with a few minutes to go - to beat the traffic - when I finally got into the game. My mom is disappointed and she was talking about some of those other nice coaches that visited 20 times.

I been working hard all summer on these constellation classes that will not get me anywhere in life to help me get a job.

Coach I hope you know this but in high school I was the Phi Slama Jama of my high school team that won 4 conference championships 4 first round exits and I got 4 conference player of the year awards. It's that time of year again! High school prospects are now available to be scouted, so let me know who you want me to pay particular attention to. I've heard there are a lot of great prospects in California, Florida, Hawaii, or maybe Thailand - those are probably the best places to start; just give me the word and I'll pack my bags! Otherwise, I'll just keep shopping online for Hawaiian shirts.
