I'm not gonna give a division 3 team that 5% random chance. I'm also preety sure that it doesn't happen in exhibition. You realize this game is based upon winner ball roll dice and coin flips??? Everything is going well, so far I have the number 1 and number 3 on my non conference schedule. I am expecting at least 20 wins this season. That would also get me to a 100 wins in my career and 87 wins at Miles.

Possible: Sure, probably. Possible for Ward: Hard nah.

I thought it was just based on tournament bids???

It's a legit question, I've never seen or heard of ANYONE making a D1 jump with a losing record. I guess it could be possible.

Theoretically, he could be a one-and-done two or three years and make it to D1 without having a winning record, I guess. But I don't expect he'll schedule hard enough in his non-conference to get an At-Large Bid.
