What factors do you look at when deciding where to set your defensive positioning?

I've been mostly looking at my opponent's PE and LP ratings, along with what % of their scoring is coming from three pointers. Are there other metrics or team-specific game planning techniques that make sense to check when adjusting your positioning?

Pe, and Lp with ratings of 70-60. I use man to man and I always double team the higher rating. Constantly double team or leading scorer in the 70's

Look at % of points from threes. Column on the far left is positioning, then the range of percentage of points from three in the next two columns.

1 36.71% 38.81% 35.13%
0 33.56% 35.13% 31.67%
-1 29.78% 31.67% 25.48%
-2 21.19% 25.48% 18.86%
-3 16.54% 18.86% 8.27%
-4 0 8.27% 0.00%

For all the people who saying I am delusional he promise me something I didn’t get this is why I left him. I don’t know everything about Hoops dynasty. I still need to learn flex/zone I need to learn big 6 and low major div 1 before I can clarify I know everything on Hoops dynasty
