I don’t get your complaint. You’re mad that it’s too spaced out or something? I see you’re a D3, so I’m assuming you were going after D1 recruits who all signed elsewhere at the last minute??

I'm not sure the nature of the complaint either.

There are certainly valid complaints but this one is misguided.

Personally, I would quit my day job while leaving the wife and kids to make room for recruiting. But that's just me.

Too spaced out, for example, heavy attention points late to make up for recruit misses, but because cycling is so spaced out, there's no time for a late signing, so during the last active cycle 5-11 pm, my potential kid is at 40% for accepting a schollie; at 11 pm I get an email from a kid ready for a schollie, but of course after 11 no actions are available because recruiting ended, but it actually hasn't ended because it ends secretly at 2 am, but I can't do anything because it ended at 11 pm, wtf? Change the cycling to 4-5 hours so low schools have time to get a kid late.

Wouldn't that lead to "Cycles are too close together! You have 1 at 11 PM then another at 3 AM and 7 AM!! Who the hell is up at 3 AM to change AP on recruits they lose??? Stupid WifS!!! I'm done!!!!!"?

Yeah, this was beta tested, 6 is the best by far. You have plenty of cycles to cultivate some backups, if that’s important to you. If that’s not important to you, take the walkon and fight again next season.

Yeah this is an unjustified whine thread. "too spaced out". Lets see...you have how many cycles to recruit players? You realize there would be NO difference with three hour cycles because all the attention points would be worth half of what they are now and the exact same situation can happen.

And if you are complaining that you only got a kid to 40% by 11:00 AM on the LAST day...well that's on YOU. I'm sure everyone else that wants a player can surely get to the schollie offer on a player before the FINAL cycle of the second session. Sounds like it didn't go your way and you want to blame the system and not yourself. For a change....its not a system issue.

Yep, on the verge, your bs 6 hour recruiting cycle leaves no time for late recruiting so I'm fed up and will not renew with my money unless things change. I know I am not the only one
I'll throw this guy a bone. RS2 generally sucks very hard.

I'm not sure what the fix is, but I hope spoon can take comfort in knowing RS2 is equally tough on everyone who's trying to recruit the salvage-yard scrap recruits at the end.

I'm just annoyed that there's nothing to tell me whether or not a recruit has a criminal background. That would completely change the way I recruit - we may not win many games, but we'd have the intimidation factor.

I coached HS Football for a long time. We had one lunatic head coach who made the kid with the jail ankle bracelet get off the bus first and walk around with it so as to scare this team of rich white kids we were playing.
