i just came here to look for it as well. I didn't even get to see any responses after i posted in it. Did it get worse? Or did beachhouse just request that it be taken down?

He requested it to be removed. Lame.

Well we can actually just continue it here, as the removal of the thread adds to the dynamic of it! I really thought it was a great discussion piece. A lot of information came from it. It showed how different coaches approach the game. As far as either being friendly/caring. Or win by any means necessary. Also, if I'm not mistaken, his comments were posted in the coaches corner? So for the most part, its all stated there, voluntarily. So why remove it here? The forums are for discussions. And if we were all in his favor, and screaming "Boooooooooo Tex! I can't believe you!".... How many of you think it would've been requested to be removed? I've been 'wrong' about things in the forums. And I've gotten the wrath from some of you. But I never thought of having it removed. And i have nothing against beachhouse. He's been nothing but helpful to me.
I was enjoying the discussion too. I didn't realize there were coaches who actually think the HD jobs design is faulty because it's too easy to move up to a better job.

For years, the majority opinion I've heard (and agreed with) was that WIS makes it too difficult, too expensive, too time-consuming to move up to D1 -- where the majority of potential new customers would aspire to play.

So I found the alternative viewpoint surprising, and I would have liked to hear more about that perspective.

The thread had pretty much run its course, but I didn't get an explanation of why it was deleted. BH's harassment of tex in the coaches chat was worse, and has not been deleted.

I did get a sitemail from BH inviting me to go f_k myself. Now he can't sitemail me anymore, but I kept his message as a delightful souvenir.

BH says he also sitemailed tex. I hope he sitemailed him to bury the hatchet.
Hey, I got that same site-mail from beachhouse. Don't know the guy and don't play HD, but commented because I'm tired of people today expecting the rest of the World to pat them on the back and tell them it's not their fault when they make a mistake and kick and scream and whine until others fix it for them. I made the point that if an owner really wants to keep a team (in any sport on any site), he should make sure he does so, or it is gone. It is nobody else's responsibility to help them get it back. He tried to slam me for that, along with blaming everyone else for his mistake, and making crazy assumptions about them, while asking us to buy-into all his excuses. I'm glad to hear that maybe his entire picture wasn't presented in that one thread, but fact remains he was WAY out of line with several people and needs to accept responsibility for his actions.

You mean like I kept telling you to do in the other thread before you deleted all your posts and whined and cried to Admin. to delete it because it made you look like a fool? I see you still haven't learned. It's still other people, and not you, doing things wrong.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. Are you from the generation of not letting things go?

I meant what I said to you and KC in the moment. I said my piece and I move on. I’ve never once said I am entitled to anything. I made the mistake of not renewing. I was ****** that someone agreed to something informally and then went back on it. The team won, so I was ****** at myself and I didn’t think the owner deserved the accolade with a team that I had fully recruited. He still gets the accolade and the credits that go with it. I left the world because it isn’t worth my time.

and I’ve moved on. Life goes on. You should move on with yours.

Additionally, you don’t even play HD. So you need to get a life. This is what I play and therefore I use the forum. It would be extremely weird of me to enter a discussion in the baseball forum or the GD forum.

Classic "old man yells at cloud" post.

Lol... so you don't play HD, have absolutely nothing to do with that other thread, but you felt the need to comment because why? Cuz you're a meddling busybody who is crying about the world being too soft or something. Lol... unbelievable...

There's an Italian-American slang term for you... you're "fee-koo-NOZZ".

Literally everyone who plays HD would be upset under the circumstances. The rant was valid. Even Tex acknowledged it. Let’s knock it off with the sanctimony and piling on.

When you say literally, I assume you mean “a significant percentage”. It isn’t literally everyone because the a very similar thing happened to me and I was mad at myself not anyone else. Ok maybe a little mad but I didn’t tell anyone to F off. And I am pretty much the type of guy to tell people to F off.

You didn’t experience his circumstances, TJ, as far as I know. You DID forget to renew, which was where the similarities end.

He contacted CS, and was told everything should be fine, no sweat. Then when someone else got the position, he was told, oh whoops, I guess that must have been a late entry, well contact the other coach and work something out. He did that, and the other coach said sure, I’ll look around, then didn’t.

He has a valid complaint about how this worked out on a number of levels. I mean the word literally in the traditional sense, every single person who spends time and money to play HD would be royally ****** if these circumstances played out for them.

ETA, and I would guess well over half would tell people to go **** themselves, if those people posted their rant in the forum and tried to shame them for it.
