I am joining the party. I am done being an Independent. Even though I think the country needs to rething the 2nd amendment, I am not remotely religious, I am pro choice and I believe we need to cap CEO salaries. I cannot fathom voting for a party that:

1. Thinks white males are evil (Hirono said men need to step up and shut up) --- or as many here say have "privilege".
2. Force the accused to prove a negative.
3. Support the terror state of Palestine over Israel.
4. Support people changing their gender on a whim.
5. Have allowed inner cities to become modern day plantations giving the residents little to no hope. The reason is they give them just enough to have them keep voting Democrat. If they really let them thrive then many would shift to the GOP.
6. Have no idea how to balance the budget and say it needs to be by cutting military spend. Our deficit is $950Bn. TOTAL military spend is $660Bn. If you cut it to ZERO, you would still be in a deficit. Dems will never attack Entitlements. GOP may.
7. I HATE the whole BLM movement and racial divide. I am not sure why they embrace it but I just blame the Leftists for that.
8. I am not at all on board with the Dems border policy.
9. I hate that they cannot accept that Trump won. People who say that anyone who voted for Trump was duped or is an idiot are in fact themselves idiots.
10. Think all Republicans are racist, mysoginist, A-Holes.

Voting 3rd party is useless and MA has hope. Our Governor is a Republican and the state is killing it. We need to get Markey and Warren out of there and begin to take the state back overall. I am going to register as a Republican for the next election and begin donating heavily to the party. I was keeping the door open to vote Democrat again as I finally got over that DNC fiasco but the way they have treated Kav and his family has made it clear that the Blue door will never reopen for me. Actually my wife, who leaned Left is following suit and joining me. She thinks this Kav case is just hilarious and she unlike Bob believes Ford is a liar. She of course just as Bob doesn't know for sure.

My 2 cents.

And joining a dying party that bears NO resemblance to the party of Eisenhower to Reagan, virtually NONE of the major precepts remain NOW that they hold the reins of Gov't. In simpler terms, the current GOP has sold their principles OUT now that they hold power.

It's a sad historical fact that the Grand Old Party of Lincoln has NOW been on the wrong side of history on issue after issue after issue.
It will inevitably lead to the party's demise. They are NOW anti women, anti gay, anti poor, anti colored's, anti freedom for all.

I just (last night) looked at my Arizona voter pamphlet............ there is NOT a single Republican I can vote for (Do a Google search on Bob Thorpe---you'll see a good example why)--------- This election will be the very 1st time, I have EVER voted a straight ticket. (I remember one election a few years back where I voted 6 - 6 - 6 (6 Dems, 6 Repugs, and 6 Ind/others like Libertarians). NOT this year, it's a straight Democratic Ticket.

So, obviously, this single former Reagan voter is offsetting YOUR vote all by myself, then there's MY wife, my 2 daughters, my son's family (all women, save him), etc............. You are going to witness the result come November.

The WOMEN'S vote will send the GOP packing! And you will find yourself in some VERY strange company. Tin hats and conspiracy theorists (the infamous T.P.) have infiltrated/taken over your NEW/old friends.

I'll take that chance. My parents have both converted to voting Red (not that it matters in MA) but I have family in Fla and they are all voting Red too. Let the battles begin! :)

Hi, I’m cccp. Other than constantly blowing Ben Shapiro and defending Trump, I was an independent. But then something changed. A judge was credibly accused of sexual assault and I can’t sit by and let that happen. No way, no how.

I’m proudly “switching” to GOP in the hopes that I can stop more sexual assault victims from coming forward.

It's widely agreed that BOTH Parties s*ck, but I think many, including several here, are greatly underestimating the damage that the hatred shown for the last two years combined with the obvious Politicizing of this Kavanaugh stuff has done to the Dems. Mid-terms certainly should be interesting. Too bad there aren't nearly enough "decent" Independent/3rd Party candidates around.
