Curious what our Leftists posters would do about it if they were Potus.
Thoughts?
It’s a non-story. Who gives a ****? If I were POTUS, I’d do nothing. They can apply for asylum. The ones that credibly need asylum get in, the rest are denied.
This is nothing more than Trump trying to distract his base from the facts that the tax cut isn’t very popular and that the GOP tried to take away the ACA.
So when 14k march in how would you stop them? The tax cut is indeed very popular, hence the hihger aproval ratings and ACA needs to be repealed and replaced.
March in? They walk to the border. There are border patrol agents at the port of entry. They won't be allowed in. Again, it's a non-story that Trump is using as a distraction.
The tax cut is unpopular, it's why Trump is lying about a new middle class tax cut for before the election.
It's a complete lie though. Congress won't be in session to pass any laws between now and the election.
Once again, Trump is a liar.
Also, the ACA is incredibly popular and should not be repealed. The GOP knows it, which is why a bunch of congressional candidates are promising to protect pre-existing condition coverage.
Which is also a lie.
In general, the GOP sucks.
#1) They marched past the fence in Mexico if they attempt to overrun what would you do?
#2) It is not unpopular. Look at the job growth and CAPEX spend.
#3) He is lying? How?
#4) ACA is not popular. Maybe in CA.
#5) In your opinion as you're a Leftist.
1) There is no fence on the southern Mexico boarder. Anyone can walk from Guatemala to Mexico.
2) "The theory behind the tax cut was that it would unleash a huge wave of business investment, financed by massive capital inflows. And there's still no sign that this is happening: business investment as a share of GDP"
"To fulfill the promises of the tax cutters, this number would have to surge by several percent of GDP. In fact, it's no higher than it was in the middle Obama or late Bush years. The tax cut isn't delivering the promised goods "
3) He is saying they will pass a middle class tax cut prior to the election. It's literally impossible to do that because congress isn't in session.
4) It's more popular that Trump. Look at the polling. 54% are in favor of it now.
5) Yes, but also backed by the actions of the ****** GOP.
