I need a player comparison for a pitcher who has (all projected numbers): 27 control, 92 vL, 87 vR, 54 velocity, 27 GB/F, 86 P1, 68 P2, 49 P3, 45 P4 and has 100 stamina and 31 durability.

How good will this pitcher be?

His ERA will be over 5. I wouldn't use him in the Majors in any role besides mop up if I were trying to win. If you know you're not a playoff team you could use him as LRA or LRB be fine. If you are forced to use him due to lack of depth but still trying to win, put him at LRA with about 80 pitch count but 4 pull rating.

I’ve got a pitcher, Boone Hardy, who has 15 more control, but 10 less vL and 10 less vR. Hardy has a 4.7 ERA in 275 ML innings which is decent. He also has worse pitches and velocity. This is why I think the guy I first mentioned could be good.

Low control usually means high WHIP, low OAV adding up to high ERA. I don't even know what 27 Control would do. 40 is the lowest I've been able to stomach for any amount of time at the major league level.

A lot of times owners fail to understand that each world is different.

In some worlds a 4.7 would be ridiculously high, but if your league avg is 4.4, then 4.7 isn't too far out of whack.

Yeah, I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone use below 40. What are the guys current ratings?

No hope. First of all, his splits are going to fall 8 or so points short of your projections, and his pitches are almost done developing... check out what he's done this season so far. Also, Hardy is a GB pitcher, which helps him... Escuela will give up lots of walk-walk-HR sequences.

With where I estimate his ratings will end up, his ERA will be in the low 5's... in AAA.
