Recruiting Time Topic

With most of us working is it possible that in the last hour of recruiting we can get updates every 15 minutes? Some of us are not able to always check our status until that evening and then it is too late to add our attention points and find a different recruit if we lose out on one

status doesnt change during the 6 hours of the recruiting cycle - the only times when it changes are at the 500 ET and 1100 ET cycles every 6 hours

I understand that. My question is on the last hour why does it not change more By the 11 ET change it is too late. The recruiting cycle has ended and u get stuck with a player(s) that the sim picks for u. Some people can't check on their recruiting status at those times But in that last hour if it updated every 15 minutes we would have e time to pick up players especially if we missed out on someone we were gunning for.

This doesn't make any sense. After the 5pm cycle, you have 6 hours to do whatever you please as far as effort. During that 6 hour time frame, no one is gaining or losing traction on a recruit. Everything is at a stand still until 11pm hits. Then it processes.

if we got updates every 15 minutes, you'd have 4 continuous updates, that look EXACTLY the same way things will look when 11pm hits.

It's not like on the last day, the cycles are like.....

5am, 11am, 5pm, 10pm, 10:15pm, 10:30pm, 10:45pm, and 11pm

is that what you're thinking?

And also, if you're saying you are running out of time for finding players towards the end, the answer to that is the same answer that all coaches would agree with..... you have 22 cycles in RS1 and 10 in RS2. That is where you find your need time. If you're not prepared at 11pm on the last day, you didn't do an efficient job at recruiting. Having fall back options, or multiple fall back options should be part of your entire recruiting process

I think I may understand what you’re trying to say. I think you are talking about the situation where you unlock someone’s scholarship at 11, but can’t offer it after?

do not be confused - it is very simple - it is a 6 hour cycle. Nothing changes during that cycle. Check in some time during those 6 hours at your convenience.

ifff the point of this thread is the need to find backup choices, that is something you need to plan ahead for - to identify and open some interest. If you often scramble for backups, you have made a decision to take the risk of more walkons than you may want - of course, a walkon is no disaster. You make your choices in tactics and take the risks you want to take

I think he's asking that the length of the recruiting cycles change from 6 hours to 15 minutes for the last hour of recruiting session 2.

There’s actually some merit to that, since many players don’t sign that last cycle until after midnight anyway. Final hour feeding frenzy. Nice thought, but I wouldn’t expect anything like that anytime soon.

It wouldn’t require, it would simply allow. Most folks have their recruiting done well before the last cycle anyway. This is essentially just squeezing some extra cycles in, if folks want them, without adding days. I don’t see a downside. I just don’t think it’s likely to ever get programmed.
