That’s actually what I was thinking. He doesn’t push the scale one way or another, he’s literally even. Not good enough to help, not bad enough to hurt. I am wondering if he is even worth signing.

Put your scale at 80-20 and see if the math connects.

I would sign him. That guy is useful in my system.

Kind of this type of player. Basically worthless until the middle of his soph season, but definitely a decent high D1 player now. Depends on what you have to pay for him. As I recall, I had to drop a couple HVs to land him without battle. Worth it, IMO.

That everything else is in red cap and he is a high target role player. Benis typically if I stay through I will be battling if I reach low division one.

Soft cap Rolling dice wont even take 3 rolls to the next number I believe but I am a nit at dice play. Redshirt or kick I get those type of numbers with my role numbers But in Div III I get one or two greens maybe one blue specially if I am not recruiting high div 2 but been recruiting low tier division 2 role players and been having success with job stay.

I say no unless he has good enough REF/SB to play the 3. If the per was a blue 60 I’d probably take him, but I don’t really want to play someone with 75 BH 75 speed and sub85 per at the 2...

Low WE and relying on potential changes the equation a bit. If everything else is basically set, he can still be useful while you try to develop his jumpshot to make him a scorer as a senior. But if he also needs more than a little development in the speed/def/BH to hit those targets, I’d probably treat him as a low priority backup.

You guys have high expectations! At Rhode Island I’d take that guy all day as a backup. I know I’m getting a player that will stay 4 years, play good D, be athletic, and not hurt me off the bench. But I’m also recruiting in the A10 with a low baseline. Restocking when I lose early entries is harder so I try and mitigate it by having guys that can fill in during their 3rd and 4th season if I need them to.
