this was my first NT win after many seasons. Not sure how this team was so good but this was a pretty dominant tourney win. Have there been many better?

Congrats on your first championship! The first one is always the sweetest! I'm pretty nerdy when it to my HD titles. I take a bunch of screenshots of things when I win, so i can look back at stuff if i need to. But exactly half of my title wins have been by double digits. So often times the games can be a wider margin then you may expect. If you win more titles along the way (or just play in more title games along the way), you'll see what I mean. This is your thread to shine in, so I won't throw numbers out there. But I will congratulate you again! And keep building the trophy case!

That link didn't work for me. But I was able to see your game because the season is still active and the world hasn't rolled yet

I linked his run so people can see it. Very impressive. Absolute F4 and E8 beatdowns! Congrats.

looks like you won by average of 40 through whole tourney. wow.
and ... it looks like no team was ever within 10 points of you once the game got midway through the first half.? just wow.

my personal best margin in the NT is 13, i think (for the closest game) - so pretty sure you got me beat!

39 points a game I thought was probably up there. I have so little else to do right now so I just I'm prouder than I should be....

Grats. You should probably repeat.

On a side note - does anyone else think there are way too many recruits in California. I know in Smith world, the California DII conference is always overpowering. Anyone see the same in other worlds?

It is specifically because of Lakers UCLA and USC they are all 30 mins apart and 5 miles of Airline Miles it is a pro background where streetballers is equivalent to New York ruckers park right next to Madison Square where its 10 miles Airline mileage and can be walked to and back before and Taxi can.

Smith D2?! That conference is the little brother to the CAC! Has been for years! Shout out to my conference I just left this season! (And friendly fire to the fierce competitors in Cali conference! Both good groups of coaches!)

Cali is the best place to be for sure.

Splash-congrats and great tourney run!

As for Cali, it's dependent on all the usual factors. I have SF St in Phelan and if you're going to be in Cali Northern Cali is not the place to be. It's dependent on the layout of the world. For D2, how populated is the RMAC? How many humans are in D2 Washington and Oregon? Is Montana St Billings human coached? And then in D1, how many humans are on the West coast outside of the Pac-10?

Before I took SF St I was in D3 in NJ. North of me there was 1 other D3 coach and 1 D2 coach. ONE D2 COACH NORTH OF NJ. You had your pick of damn near anyone from the D2 and D1 talent pool.

I agree Cali is so dependent on how many coaches are around there. Same for most places though.

Well heading into phase two I have 10 guys to pick from. LA seems to be the homey pot IMO

I got lucky because I picked 0C because it was the only open spot in a conference full of great coaches. I didn't even know where it was until after I joined. Now I find after an A rep recruiting is pretty easy.
