I won't do either but I can see what he was trying to say. As usual, his mode of expression is bizarre but it doesn't seem as outrageous to me as was first reported. My assumption is that he was employing a metaphor and not being literal.

I don't think the 70/30 split is accurate. That feels like confirmation bias to me. I'd bet it's about the same as it was before this whole thing started.

About doug, I gave up on him when he posted an offer a few months ago to debate anyone - one on one - and then backed away when I accepted, even though I said he could choose the subject.
