I live in NJ, and have one of those pre-existing conditions, so I have been on house arrest for like 6 weeks. It's been good and bad. I found out the woman I live with can sew, the kids I live with have names and hobbies, and the dog I live with is much calmer if he goes for like 3 walks a day.

Other than connecting with my family, the thing that's got me through this is playing cards. I am a bit of a gambler so my circles of card players is pretty deep. I now play like 5 nights a week. A couple of the groups I play with are always looking for new players. If you are interested in playing friendly tournaments for a couple bucks send me a smail or comment here or something. There's a little trust involved in this, like you have to be willing to believe I am not going to steal your $10, but it's a good group of regular people playing cards. Let me know if you are interested.

On what platform? My buddies and I have found a site that doesn't require software or anything. Pretty simple as far as interface but it gets the job done.

? Which site? Some also require software installs and are not free to play.

Pokerstars- I like this but it's a pain in the *** in NJ, because the system is different. Also, I would prefer to be able to play on my phone and I can't with my phone.

Pokerrrrr- I like this alot. I can use my phone, but there is a small charge to set up a game.

Donkhouse- i don't like this at all. It's free, no frills, and you can kinda play no your phone but it sucks that way.

Haha we used donkhouse before stumbling on the other one. Gotta love the name though.

I’ve been using pokerrrr with my friends as well. It’s all about buying those 3 hour passes with your gold.

we've been using realcardpoker, which has the gimmick of supposedly real decks (which is sort of terrifying because like, wtf, that isn't really possible without making things worse). its a total piece of **** and people get dropped all the time but its been better than nothing.

if you play it, the SNG blinds are insane - gotta do MMT 5m, which is almost too slow but decent for most of the time (too slow at the end). the site does support a bunch of games, we've been settling on HO half holdem half omaha which helps keep the action fact enough. we've also been using like, zoom and **** to video chat during, maybe half the folks hop on, maybe a bit more.

Is there a site any one uses for Pot Limit Hold'em ? My one buddy likes to play that but we haven't found a good site for cash game PL holdem tables.

not that i know of, but what do you use for NL cash games? we wanted to do cashgames some of the time but that realcardpoker crap is just tournaments. or in theory there are cash games but they don't work or something.

I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I'm playing poker while recruiting at times. Calling someones bluff if they aren't going to spend, but they appear as if they will.

Or my favorite (talking about D2 recruiting here)..... I may end up fake battling for a player 1 with Coach A, and I'll be on the considering list of player 2 who is also led by coach A. So with player 1 I'll unlock and offer ship, and then a start and 25 minutes, knowing damn well I don't want player 1. Then when RS2 begins, I'll drop an HV bomb on player 2 and sign him. Which is what I really wanted in the first place (I'll usually rescind on player 1. Or at least drop the promised minutes to 15. I NEVER use the 25 min promise)

pokerrrr is the best IMO
donkhouse is bad
pokerstars is good but they take a rake from the play chips in house games so its frigging hard to cash out at the end of the night. You need to do a rolling proportion of total $ and total chips out, and even then I have no idea if it's fair. Well, i have some idea but am not confident it's 100% fair.
