Trump just thinks looking "tough" is going to appeal to his base. He's been worried about his re-election since day 1, far more than he's worried about the actual best interest of the country...

Maybe. It's crazy that everything he has done over the past week has perfectly lined up with fascist rhetoric and actions.

He had a phone call with Putin before the photo op. Everything makes sense.

Republicans are NOT the party of small government. That much is clear from today.

Tell me what you think the Dems. have been worried about most since Trump's day 1. (Hint: It's his re-election too.)
BOTH Parties have wasted the last 4 years arguing about themselves and their "power", instead of working on America's problems.
I really don't think even the dumbest of the dumb here would argue that. We simply disagree who has done it worse (or is it better?).

Point taken. But then, that seems the one thing we've agreed about from the gitgo.
A dislike for the Parties establishment's.

I used to lean Republican when younger............then I saw that party get taken over by nitwits, racists, and neo-cons without a clue (Dick Cheney) as well as "operatives" with less scruples than Judas (Karl Rove) seemingly guiding the Party's ideology.

I was fine with that............until the Dems. somehow figured HRC to be their best candidate for POTUS............(Still can't believe THAT logic).
Now that Party seems to be in the same leadership vacuum at the top that the Repugs have been (since about 1990) and is hell-bent on running last decades candidate AGAIN!

But, Trump is so bad and getting to be so well known for being not just inept..........but a bad and inveterate liar, a coward, and completely unfit in both character AND intelligence that being NOT TRUMP might just be enough this cycle.

Somebody with a clue and some grit and character ought to mount a 3rd party challenge this year.
It could actually be the year that folks say why not? Can't be worse than these bums?
