Like, where are all of these deep thinkers on the right? Please, let me find them. I don't think they exist.
Milton Friedman
Charles Krauthammer
Flemming Rose
Bill Buckley
Barry Goldwater
Henry Kissinger
Ed Crane
Edward Prescott
Douglass C. North
Admittedly, a significant portion of the people who came easily to mind are economists...
I should revise my question. Deep-thinking modern-day Trump supporters on the right. Most of these people are libertarians, not really conservatives in the traditional sense.
Milton Friedman - died 2006
Charles Krauthammer - died 2018 (and was anti-Trump)
Flemming Rose - not American
Bill Buckley - died 2008
Barry Goldwater - died 1998
Henry Kissinger - From what I understand, Trump-critical?
Ed Crane - Libertarian, so anti-Trump, presumably
Edward Prescott - I can't find much on him, but he said that Obama's economy was good.
Douglass C. North - Died 2015
I respect many principled libertarians. We can have reasonable conversations about the issues, and agree on some things. However, these people don't tend to be gung ho Trump supporters, and for good reason.
