Things are not always as they seem. Lets be realistic. Arizona state senate has voted to conduct an audit? Yay! So now what? They can't do it themselves, obviously, so they need to hire someone to do it. So now lets consider what kind of company would be willing to take this job? A company headed by a liberal CEO? Lol not a chance, he/she certainly has no interest. Ok ok. How about a moderate/slight right leaning CEO, would they have any interest? Also, not a chance due to 1/6 and the strict media narrative about the "big lie"..no way a moderate CEO is going to be willing to take a PR hit like that. So, anyways, our friends in the Arizona senate are still in need of a company to audit the election so who can they/must they turn to? A: A company who's CEO is on the further right end of the spectrum. Ok, so but how can we trust it then? The answer is simple - the damn CEO does not count the ballots, does not direct the actual audit itself - which, by the way, has incredible oversight - A 24 hour LIVESTREAM can be accessed. Actually MUCH MUCH more transparent than those ballots being counted in Michigan behind cardboard put up to shield the window. Anyways, I digress. The CEO issue is a nothing burger - in fact, as I have shown, there was no way for it to end up any other way. So our fact-resistant liberal friends never have to accept this audit from the outset - NO MATTER what it says.
I could elaborate and say this in a less colloquial manner, but y'all won't listen anyways. For what it's worth, my logic is airtight.
Sure, but the way the audit is conducted can show some biases - like searching for bamboo and using UV lights. The *methodology* is what matters, not as much the actual counting process. The CEO of Cyber Ninjas, the company overseeing the audit, remember, DOES have influence as to the process involved - THEY'RE THE ONES RUNNING IT. No, the CEO thing is NOT a nothingburger.
The actual workers aren't without bias either - using your logic, who would volunteer to count ballots in an audit conducted by the Republican loons in the Senate - probably right wing people who already thought Trump won, right? In fact, there have been reports of far-right groups recruiting volunteers to run the count. Really makes you wonder, huh? Furthermore, according to the people RUNNING THE AUDIT, the vast majority of observers are self-identified Republicans (contrary to the actual audit, which is 50/50).
Just because there's a livestream does NOT make the process transparent, considering we don't know what workers are doing to the ballots themselves. In fact, the procedure has been characterized as being extremely vague, much more so than a "normal" audit - which is why there is so much confusion and speculation. The people running the audit have refused to answer even basic questions as to how the process is being conducted, even simple questions like 'how many ballots are being counted per day?' Finally, the oversight process has been extremely shoddy - former election officials have pointed out that there is no one verifying whether the counts line up and are correct, far less secure than the real audit. This is an absurd argument and I think you know it's false.
Think about what groups have expressed concern - the Justice Department, Republicans in the Arizona legislature, the sec of state, people involved with the election process - doesn't that concern you a little bit, that literally everyone besides the loons conducting the audit are saying that the process is abnormal and bullshit?
Maybe instead of constructing a world in which everyone else is crazy (if the election was stolen and thousands of people were involved, wouldn't there be a whisleblower by now? If you think that the original audit was corrupt, not just in Arizona but in every state, you don't think even one person would have come forward and admitted it anonymously, uncovering the biggest story in US history?), maybe you're the crazy one? Have you ever considered that?
Even if the audit turns up a Biden win, the entire point is to provide more rabbit holes to attack the security of the election. You're already doing it. "They deleted information, Dominion won't turn over everything," etc.
There's nothing that will convince you. If you genuinely think this audit is better and more transparent than the one conducted by the state, YOU'RE the one not accepting facts.
