i don;t understand and have never understood a single benefit to opening a new world besides the 4th 2x world which most people clamoring for a new world dont even play 2x worlds.
great you want to crater the already bad populations for what? the same coaches who dominate high d1 to beat you to the same high d1 jobs you think you'll get in a new world.
0 benefit besides the extra 2x world.
Well, a race to the top in a new world is quite fun. Everyone starts in D3, so there are no coaches who dominate high d1 to beat you to the same high d1 jobs , unless you don't get good recruits and win the first several seasons. Everyone starts out at exactly the same place. Everyone has the same opportunity.
almost every coach at these jobs people want to race to will wipe the floor of the people racing them and end up at the same jobs. theres no benefit a new world isn't going to attract new coaches. current coaches will play regardless of a new world and instead a new world would otentially get new coaches to drop teams in exisiting world or at best artificall;y inflate a new worlds population for a year or two
Sure, a NEW world would be more for CURRENT coaches, not necessarily to bring in new coaches. But, as a business, they have to also get current (old) customers to pay more money as well as bring in new customers paying new money.
D1 is very crowded now in most worlds, at least the power 6 conferences. So a new world would, in the long run, open up more D1 teams as well (assuming not everyone would add that world and keep all their other teams).
I would certainly take a team in a new world. Would I also drop a team in an old world? Not initially. That is at least one paid new season for them.
