WIS always does an AMAZING job getting the new players loaded as soon as the season ends. Kudos to them...

The 28th most expensive hitter now. Wow!

Ohtani more than 9 million is ridiculously high, also only 71 speed for a guy with 59 stolen bases seems wrong

Just started a league to try some of these guys out. 5 minimum from 2024, rest come from 1974-2024.

Only 14 pitchers with IP/G > 6. None > 6.4. I really don't like modern baseball anymore.

Is it even possible to sim a 2024 full-season replay with a 25-man roster?

I don't see Shohei Ohtani in the list of 2024 players. Wonder if there was an oversight there.

EDIT: Nvm, just can't seem to find the 2024 Ohtani using search function, have to look up 2024 Dodgers first and then find him that way. Weird.

E.Clase looks like a steal!

Not even close. The Dodgers have like 25 qualifying pitchers (they used 40 this season, including two position players). If you want to do a replay season, you need to allow like 10 pick-your-own AAA so you can roster everyone.

Does not seem likely…..Sounds like a good theme idea

Only caught 4 times, too. How is Speed figured anyway? It's mysterious to me quite often. Especially catchers (I notice that Christian Bethancourt is a 63 speed in his Cubs partial, but 55 in his Cubs and Marlins full seasons and a 44 in his Marlins partial).

More on Speed ratings ...

Mike Trout is 97?

He has been in the 70s every season since 2018 and has never been above 94. Sorry, but the 2024 version of Trout is clearly not his fastest by a longshot.

Maybe we can flip Ohtani and Trout's ratings?

It’s a Bill James stat based on things like stolen bases, triples, runs scored per times on base, those types of stats that indicate speed
