Thanks for the memory jog. I remember some velvet morning. Dig that one a LOT. I also remember sugar town, something stupid (of course, but I kind of pit that in Frank's catalog), and was Nancy's the version of Bang Bang that became the hit? If so, I certainly also know that one and it's awesome.

See, you educated me. Still, that's about half of a Greatest Hits Retrospective in my book.

I didn’t write down every song - just gave a taste of some of the stuff. Of course there are great songs on albums not singles and also b sides like her great rendition of up up and away - she is a Sinatra after all.

Marshall Crenshaw is great! (and yes, he does have a greatest hits collection) His debut album Marshall Crenshaw is one of the best debuts ever in my opinion.

the blacklist has been renewed for season 9.

watched a documentary on ZZ Top on Netflix the other night. Very interesting (although if you don't like ZZ Top, you won't like the documentary.) All 3 members are pretty good musicians, and Billy Gibbons is a great guitar player.

There is an album coming out this month by a group called Hearty Har. They are the sons of John Fogerty.
I heard 3 songs.
I wish I could say it was great.

2021 is shaping up to be a really lackluster year for new music.
there will be lots of great reissues and anniversary editions of classic albums.
