So everyone else that doesnt play the -5 are not pushing their own agendas? Almost any issue helps someone and hurts someone.

Yeeaaah ... that's hardly a new spin. Everyone's been saying that for months.

And as if I actually have to explain this: When you play the -5 all the time, you have a really significant vested interest in the -5 debate that has a huge impact on you. As opposed to coaches who don't and would only face the -5 very occasionally, it doesn't impact them even a fraction as much and they have a fraction of the interest/agenda.

Not even comparable.

Your missing the point. It doesnt matter if it helps or hurts me or you. Wat matters is right and wrong.

If someone tells you to brush your teeth everyday, does it matter if they own stock in a toothpaste company? You should still brush your teeth Everyday.

As soon as the baseless attacks against coaches using the -5 stop my job here will be done! In the meantime I will just try my best to stop myth based discrimination in the HD enviroment!

Actually, yes it does matter. A lot.

And while your point is off because this not a simple right and wrong issue, even still the vast majority of coaches who have weighed in believe you're in the wrong anyway.

Stop trying so damn hard to paint yourself as "Defender of the Truth" when everyone can plainly see that you're simply "Defender of Yourself".

So I dont feel like looking through all the pages of the thread including the worthless stuff about the -5 (wasnt there already a 20+ page thread about that?). Has admin actually said practically how the hard cap will be implemented? Will you only be able to offer schollys to 6 freshman? Will you be able to offer as many as you want but once the first 6 sign thats it? How is that going to work?

blackdog, yes you can offer as many as you want but the first 6 to sign is all you get. First come, first served if you have more than 6 schollies offered to freshmen. Here's the link for yesterday's chat:
