63 giants OF consisting of mays,mccovey,alou outstanding. plus using orlando cepeda at 1B and have half season A+ catcher tom haller. harvey kuenn a nice bat with a 117 OBP+ and full time ab's.

73 dodgers SP consisting of sutton, messersmith, osteen, john & downing outstanding. starting catcher joe ferguson a arm with 25 bombs, again outstanding. steve yeager has a decent obp+ and can save some ab's here and there.

83 twins INF using gaetti at 3B and john castino at 2B. decent gloves, decent bats both high $4million dollar guys are quite servicable there. tim teufel makes a nice PH off the bench as well as kent hrbek & mickey hatcher. twins net just two starters forcing my wild card to be....

93 brewers WC is SS Pat Listach. Who is then twisted for my offensive team twist to the 92 version that includes 54 sb's, a range, b- field and a .290 avg. Considering how weak the twins starting inf is, this is a nice double wild card manuever.

03 yankees bullpen. mariano rivera is of course terrific. benitez twisted to 04 marlins benitez to form potent 1-2 punch. however the rest of the cast is an assortment of sh!tcans. including twist it is okay. felix heredia has a .228 oav but gives up the long ball.



overall this is undoubtedly the best blend team i have ever had.

question, does my 93 Washington become the 93 Expos or some other team?

Another question...can we only use a 4 or 5 man rotation or could we even use 6?

Okay...here is how my roster is shaping up

Battery - 73' Mets

Inf - 93' Expos

OF - 03 Royals

Pen - 63 Indians

WC- Hoyt from the 83 ChiSox

Another question...if per say I have a reliever from my 63 Indians who also qualifies as a SP, can I use him as a regular SP? I guess same goes for Larry Walker. I can draft him as a first baseman. Can I then go and play him in my outfield? These are just some examples of a few scenarios I am looking at.

You can use as many starters as you want, as long as you don't exceed the limit of 5 starts over real-life starts. The relief/starter designation matters when you draft your team. You can then use the players however you want, so a player who qualifies as a reliever by having 5 or more relief appearances with your team can also start games for you (up to 20 starts or 5 more than his RL starts, whichever is greater).

You can draft any player who has a rating in your franchise/season in the category you are drafting. If a player is rated at 1B/C/OF, he could be drafted with your infielders, your outfielders or with your battery. Once players are drafted, you can play them anywhere you want or dare.

for sure wl. that is correct. 73 yanks got you some good pitching..and obviously 03 stl gets you mr pujols..

83 NYM - took my OF out of this group. Mookie Wilson, George Foster, Darryl Strawberry - terrible avg - but hit with pop and Mookie can run like the wind.

73 NYY - WC of Thurman Munson, a huge upgrade from the Braves Berryhill and Olson.

03 STL - IF (was there any doubt) Pujols, Rolen, Renteria, and twisted Vina to 2002 for a 600AB/.333 OBP season

03 SEA (no 63 TEX) - RP Soriano, Mateo, Hasegawa, Rhodes, Benitez - could do worse

93 ATL - SP/C - Couldn't pass up on Maddux (36 starts), Smoltz (35), Glavine (36), Avery (35), Smith (14), Mercker (6) - twisted to 92 Glavine for a better WHIP.
