No team has ever run WIS's version of the FCP.

UK and Arkansas pressed after made baskets, that's it. They didn't trap at all times. They would press in the backcourt and fall back into a halfcourt defense, just like Mizzou and just like Tenn and UWM under Bruce Pearl. No team could sustain all out trapping at all times without giving up a ton of layups.

I have everyone set 2 fresh that game except my 3 guys with 90+ sta who were set to getting tired, so how does that work then? auto~subs dont seem to work

my take on forum fact is that you should keep them all set to fresh unless the talent difference is so wide that it makes sense. In your case (going uptempo with the FCP) that would be even more the case.

The auto-subs struggle when you've got multiple tired guys. do you sub out one "very tired" guy for another guy that's "very tired"?

I have no evidence to support this but I believe that once someone gets tired their incremental recovery rate is lower than if they were still relatively fresh. In other words you're better off swapping guys in and out more frequently to keep them both fresh because letting one go all the way to "very tired" means that he won't be fresh by the time his replacement is "very tired".

good point it would be nice to get a 10 second breakdown of fatigue that you could look at but oh well. Also i think we should be able to say we want tineouts to rest your 1 or 2 star players late in the game so they can recover.
